Before use, check for an allergic reaction by simply applying a small dab on the area that you intend to treat. Follow the instructions precisely as laid out on the label and then give it 24 hours before committing to doing the whole area. If no outward signs of reaction show up, you should be safe to treat the entire area.

The ideal time to use a depilatory is straight after a bath. Your skin will be clean and the hair will be softened. Follow the instructions on the label to the letter! Do not cut any corners. Before application, make sure you can see a clock or timer. This will enable you to gauge properly how long the product has been in contact with your skin.

If you have any skin lesions from bites, scratches, cuts, spots etc. leave doing the treatment for another time.

Depilatories should be used about twice a month, depending upon hair growth rate and the individual.
